Trucs & astuces pour l’entretien de vos chaussures préférées

  • If you don't wear them often, to keep the right shape and size, leave a shoe tree inside.
  • If damp, allow to air dry. Never use high heat. You can put newspaper inside to speed up drying.
  • Change models often, to air them out.
  • If your shoes start to smell, use a suitable spray.
  • If the sole looks worn, don't forget your shoemaker.
  • A soft brush is ideal for buffing leather. Never spit.
  • In winter, coat your new leather shoes with oil or leather wax to protect them from salt.
  • If salt is already present on the leather, use a mixture of white vinegar and water and rub in. Once dry, apply leather oil or wax.
  • For suede, waterproofing spray replaces oil or wax.

Poor maintenance is quickly noticed, so a well-maintained pair of shoes is a good indication of the respect you have for your accessories, and therefore for your appearance, and therefore for yourself. You communicate without uttering a word...
